AMD/Low Vision Awareness Month
Due to an increase in the number of aging baby boomers and the growing prevalence of such diseases as diabetes and age-related macular degeneration (AMD), some 61 million Americans are at high risk of serious vision loss. Dr. Manifold is the full time Medical Director for the San Antonio Fire Department Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and San Antonio AirLIFE as well as a Colonel and Commander of the 149th Medical Group, Texas Air National Guard.

UTSA finished its inaugural 2011 season with a 4-6 record and the Roadrunners set NCAA start-up program records for their opening-game (56,743) and average season (35,521) attendance.
