Lions Clubs International
The Founder Lions Club of San Antonio, Texas
The World's Oldest Lions Club
We Serve
San Antonio is the home of the World’s oldest Lions Club – now almost 95 years young. Its roll of members reads like a Who’s Who of San Antonio and Lionism. Chartered in 1915 as the “Royal Order of Lions”, the San Antonio Founder Lions Club served initially as a “Business men’s club.” Then, in 1917 it became one of 23 clubs, from Illinois to Texas, to join the nucleus of what we know of today as Lions International. That organization now consists of 1.3 million Lions in 200 countries – as such, we are the world’s largest service organization. Most of you have known a Lion...Ask us about becoming one.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
Help us to become the most “International” Lions Club in Texas
The FOUNDER LIONS CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO is focusing on making this Club representative of as many countries and cultures
as are represented in the greater San Antonio environs. There is no reason the world’s oldest Lions Club should not be one of the most “International” as well. Click here for details.
Unless someone like YOU
cares a whole awful lot,
cares a whole awful lot,

nothing is going to get better.... It’s not.
